Support Groups

Our support groups are open to anyone who is a medical patient at Callen-Lorde, regardless of their insurance coverage.

We currently have the following therapist-facilitated support groups:

Men Newly Diagnosed with HIV - For men recently diagnosed with HIV, typically within a year. This psycho-educational group runs for 12 weeks and new group cycles are offered throughout the year. The group’s purpose is to offer mutual support as members adjust to their diagnosis.
HIV Life Goals Group - An outcome-oriented, 12-week group for anyone living with HIV who would like to get back on track in life.
Stress Tolerance Group - A ten session skills training group focused on learning to survive times of crisis without making them worse.
