Callen-Lorde Community Health Center is New York City's only primary health care center dedicated to meeting the health care needs of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) communities and people living with HIV/AIDS -- regardless of any patient's ability to pay.

Callen-Lorde provides sensitive, quality health care and related services primarily to New York's lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender communities -- in all their diversity -- regardless of ability to pay. To further this mission, Callen-Lorde promotes health education and wellness and advocates for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender health issues.
Our Vision: Callen-Lorde is New York's premier provider of sensitive, culturally competent, and clinically appropriate health care and related services for lesbian, gay, bisexual people, people of transgender experience, and people living with, and at risk for, HIV/AIDS. Callen-Lorde influences the development and funding of LGBT health initiatives and research to further engender the wellness of its communities.
