Dear Patients,

The first part of our construction is complete! We hope you’ll be as excited with the results as we are, including a new blood drawing (phlebotomy) area. The second and last phase of the work will begin in late August. It will last approximately two months and is more limited in scope. In the meantime, we are getting ready for our final inspections for the new pharmacy and are hoping to open it in mid to late September.

The construction project combined with the heat wave has made for a rough summer at Callen-Lorde. We had to stop providing services on certain floors a number of times because our air conditioning stopped working. This forced us to cancel patient appointments – something we hate to do. I hope that you will accept our sincere apologies for this inconvenience, especially during a time when our appointment availability has been limited.
